Hi ladies,
Who has the right of way person: coming into the station/turnstile (catching the train) or person going out (leaving the station/turnstile).
I think to some extend person who is coming into the turnstile. Yesterday, I was going home and saw this happening at the next turnstile.
Woman A going out of turnstile as woman B was coming into the turnstile and then tapped her path train card - this was just a matter of one second. Since woman A got there first and woman B was trying to be slick and jumped in, woman A was not letting Woman B go. I usually let the incoming crowd go first but in this case I think woman A was right. Woman B tells woman A "you are going to make me loose a fair to be a bi**" then woman A says " I was here first, so am I the b or you are the b". Woman B started pushing the turnstile and woman A. Woman A was holding to the sides and not moving. Then, Woman B was trying to jump over the turnstile and pass by woman A. In the process she kept pulling woman A backword and woman A kept saying let go of her. Finally woman A pushed woman B away as woman B was over the turnstile.
WDYT?

Re: who has the right of way?
Wow, sounds like they got pretty physical! that's crazy!
I always think the people leaving have the right of way - let them get out before you go in and take their place.
I usually give the person entering the right of way. I figure they are trying to catch a train and in a rush whereas I am arriving and am not as rushed.
I know that it cheeses me off when I am trying to get through to catch my train and everybody is streaming out taking up all the turnstiles.
