1st Birthday Location Recs

My son turns 1 in September and I wondered if anyone had any fun suggestions as to where to have a one year old's birthday party. If worst comes to worst we will do it at our house but there will be a decent number of kids ages 3 and up and I worry that if we have it our house we won't have enough to entertain them all. TIA :)
It took over four years to be diagnosed with PCOS. We TTC #1 for 18 months, did 5 rounds of Clomid and finally moved onto IVF...which worked! Throughout our IF journey, we suffered 3 miscarriages. We conceived both DD and DS without treatment.

  • We had Rylie's at our house.  We had stuff for the older kids (although not many showed up) including a bounce house and a cookie decorating table where they decorated cookies with icing and sprinkles.  It turned out really well.

If you don't want to do it at your house, you could always have it at a park.  I have been to two parties at parks lately and they were fun.

  • We just did my daughter's first birthday at Central Winds Park in Winter Springs. I thought it was a pretty good time! :) September might be a nice time for an outdoor party too, it'll start to cool off around then. Congrats in advance on your son's first birthday!
  • Thank you all for your opinions and advice! I was a little worried that it would still be hot in September but you are right, it does begin to cool off :) Thanks again!!

  • There is a park in Dr. Phillips I went to that had a waterpark. Not with slides, but it had the water that shoots of the ground and water cannons. It's an Orange County park. You can probably find it if you go to the website. I can't think of the name.
