Okay Ladies, well things have been pretty crazy the last two weeks. ?We have decided not to buy our new house, which we were supposed to move into this weekend and close on June 12, but we are still selling our house. ?We just found an apartment and we are moving in on this Sunday, which is crazy! ?All of this is because we are officially moving out to the west coast in November. ?Its going to be an amazing experience, but sad to move because Hannah will just be a few months old when we move. ?My parents were pretty upset, but we hope to visit each other often. ?I am going out to San Francisco with my DH in a few weeks to scope out the area. ?Its such a huge life adjustment, but we can do it. ?Okay, thats my update. ?Life is insane and always throws these crazy fast balls at you. ?Hope everyone is well!
Re: Life update
Sometimes life throws us curveballs and we have to just close our eyes and swing for the fence. Sounds like you are doing just that...and that everything will be okay.
I know what it is like to live on the opposite coast from your family. My entire family lives in Washington. What works for DH and me is that we make it a priority to go and visit once a year. It may vary as to when we go but since we have been together, we have gone to Seattle every year. There is never an exception.
Good luck and know in your heart that this is going to be amazing for your family!
Good luck and I hope you're feeling better now that you at least know where you'll be going! We love the SF area and I actually had a job offer there about 2 years ago from a family that wanted me to be their private nanny. They would have paid for moving costs, some living costs, paid for grad school and help DH get a job! (Yeah...financially able!) While it just seemed too crazy and out of the box for me, there are times we laugh and think, what would our lives be like out there? I think it definitely would have been a fun experience--you never know what will come out of it.?
GL!?
Good luck to you! I've visited San Francisco before, and I really enjoyed it. I hope you have a great time there!
