What does one wear to a bar mitzfah(sp)?
We're skipping the whole religious ceremony thing, but there's dinner and dancing at a restaurant in the evening that we're going to. ?Can I just wear work pants and a nice top, or is that not dressy enough?

I would probably go a little dressier. Something that you might wear to a wedding.

I think a nice top and work pants would be just fine if it's at a restaurant. If it were at a banguet hall or hotel I would probably go with a dress.
Simple cocktail dress would do too, I'd think.
Because I've been to aton of bar mitzfahs, you know.
