Uh oh, what did she do? I was in Vegas all last week, so I missed all the old posts.
I came home from shopping yesterday to find Jon in bed with a dog curled up on each side of him. It was so cute (and quite an improvement from three weeks ago when Nora nearly ripped Raven's head off when he tried to get on the bed)!
The only downside to two dogs is the expense, particularly when we go on vacation. If we board both dogs at the daycare place we like, one week will be $490. If we go away twice per year and on a long weekend or two, we'll be spending over $1,000 on boarding!
Yikes on the boarding- another reason we are leaning towards waiting until after august to get a second one- we're going out of town and my p's have to watch Izzy. That way, it will be almost a year until they have to watch three dogs (2 of ours, one of theirs) again.
Izzy ripped off her e-collar and chewed it beyond usability so I had to buy another one like 3 minutes before petco closed last night. We have it taped together so it won't fall off of her. Goof.
I went to the AHF show Sunday with the intention of checking out Newt & Almond too, and they're pending adoptions too. I still don't have the guts to call Bitsy's foster and ask to meet him if we really don't know if we can do dog #2. DH said yesterday that even if we get a dog that is extremely well behaved, we can barely handle Iz!
