Need Miami Beach restaurant recommendation
Some friends from Illinois just called and said they're in Miami Beach for a few days, and they'd like to meet us for dinner tomorrow night. They're not familiar with what's around their hotel, and they don't have much mobility, so we want to meet them somewhere close to their hotel.
They're staying at the Gansevoort South in Miami Beach. It's on Collins Avenue, near 24th St (I think). Any good dinner recommendations near there?

Some of my favorite restaurants on the beach are Opa, Emeril Lagasse's restaurant, Jerry's famous diner, I've heard Nemo's really good too, Joe stone crab house, and my all time favorite is Barton G.

I agree with pp Barton G is really really good and has a great ambiance. It is very expensive though so check prices before you go depending on your budget. All the places that Joanna reccomended are the good ones on the beach too.
If your budget is flexible and you want to spend a bit I have heard all of the new restaurants at the Fountainbleau are really good. I have only tried the sushi restaurant and it was good....but its sushi so imo overpriced lol.
