Random photographer question...
Hey chicas,
I live in NYC but got married in Phoenix last November. DH and I have always said we would love to take some photos in and around the city (where we got engaged, etc.) in our wedding garb, but since it's strictly for fun and completely unnecessary, we're not wanting to spend a ton. We'd just want the digital images, no album or prints.
My dress is visiting from AZ for a bit, and I just thought I would check and see if any of you have any recs. I searched Craigslist, it was a bust.
Thanks for any suggestions!
Re: Random photographer question...
My DH and i did this exact same thing last Nov! We were married in NH (his homestate) last Sept but then i thought it'd be fun to play around NYC in our wedding stuff! We had so much fun! My co-worker is a budding photographer so i approached him and he loved the idea and he was wonderful to work with! The total was ~$300 and we got; 2hrs of shooting, a disc of images and we paid for his travel time (he lives in NJ). Here are some of our pics:
In Rockefeller Plaza
This is on 54th and 6th
Being Charlie's Angels with the FAO Schwartz guys (it was *their* idea!)
NYC pretzel!
In Central Park
Still in Central Park. We're tiny in this pic but i *love* it!!

One of my boss is a photographer by hobby, his shots are beautiful he does it purely for enjoyment, I mentioned your request and he would love to takes some pictures if you are up for it. I told him I would give you his name and number I am sure he would only charge you for his time, and give you the rights to all the pictures on a disc. I can give you his number if you are interested and want to see his work.
Sorry for the late response...
