Help - looking for event space ideas

I want to copy the original TnT Nesties and have a party for my fundraising. However, my condo is teeny tiny Anyone have any ideas? Friends/family homes are pretty far south (not very central). I was hoping to find a space that would allow me to charge admission and do a little raffle or silent auction. Any ideas?

Anyone in an apartment with an awesome clubhouse? My old place had an amaziinngg clubhouse and it was super cheap to rent.

I need to find someone with a clubhouse, because we don't have one. I never found anyone with one, because when I planned my AHR, I ended up renting a space at a park in Fullerton

I was going to recommend a clubhouse, too.

Otherwise, just any friends or family with the space or community centers that might waive the rental fee or discount it for charity.

You could check with local Parks&Rec Depts. to see if any parks have a clubhouse available. Or maybe a nearby high school or college might have some conference space available for rent?

Or any independent bar/restaurant that you frequent. I've thrown events at one in Fullerton. We got the cover charge and the raffle ticket money and the house gave us some perecentage of their sales that evening.

You might want to see if anyone on your team wants to do the event with you to split the cost (or offer their house and help get donations!)

You could also try contacting your local Elks Chapter.

check with cities' parks and recs departments, like someone else said. i know brea and yorba linda have rec centers with decent rooms you can rent for not very much if you or a team member is a resident.
