Anyone refinish their hardwood floors?
From what I understand it's kind of a long process, like a week before you can walk on it. Was it expensive? I'd like to know what you ladies were charged so I know we're not getting ripped off. Any recommendations on who to go with? Any and all info is appreciated. Thanks girls!

We are going to be doing the same thing soon - so I can use some info also.
We did it ourselves. Rented the sanders (about $70 a day) sanded the floor down, cleaned up the dust, stained and sealed. It took ages, but because we could only work on it in bits. It took the two of us about 2 days to sand two bedrooms and a hall. I think I'd gotten a quote for about 2K to have it done professionally. It cost us about $300.
