Questions to liven up the day
Apparently, i'm procrastinating. Again.
I was looking for some entertainment/reading material so i wandered to the TIP board and someone posted these questions and i thought they looked fun!!
1. If you could be an expert in anything, what would it be?
2. If you were going to compete in the Olympics, what sport would you do?
3. Are you superstitious about anything?
4. What CD would you not want anyone to know you have?
5. What was your first wake up call to life as an adult v. being a child?
Re: Questions to liven up the day
1. If you could be an expert in anything, what would it be? All things dance/ballet. I know quite a bit but there's so much i still have no clue on! There was once a Ballet category on Jeopardy and i got all smug. I didn't know any of the answers!
2. If you were going to compete in the Olympics, what sport would you do? Gymnastics or swimming
3. Are you superstitious about anything? I don't think so...
4. What CD would you not want anyone to know you have? NSYNC, Backstreet Boys
5. What was your first wake up call to life as an adult v. being a child? Moving to NYC was a *huge* wake up call! I was suddenly thousands of miles from my family, with only 2 close friends in the city. I was looking for a job and trying to find theatre auditions to go to so i could start my career. Talk about a slap in the face!
My Craft Blog
My Planning Bio
Finally! A Married Bio!!
1. If you could be an expert in anything, what would it be? expert in photography, even though i have a lot of experience and went to a great school - i still feel out of the loop sometimes.
2. If you were going to compete in the Olympics, what sport would you do? nothing stands out here - maybe badminton
3. Are you superstitious about anything? well, considering i've walked under ladders and broken mirrors and survived fine - probably not.
4. What CD would you not want anyone to know you have? Hoku - DH makes fun of me for it all the time.
5. What was your first wake up call to life as an adult v. being a child? going to college and living on my own. realizing i had to make sure to have money to cover rent and supplies for school was a big responsibility.
I'm having one of those days too! I think I've reached the end of the Nestie boards!
1. If you could be an expert in anything, what would it be? I want to be an expert baker, cake decorator and cook.
2. If you were going to compete in the Olympics, what sport would you do? Gymnastics
3. Are you superstitious about anything? I'm pretty superstitious (I think I get it from my 1st generation Chinese mom). I always say God bless you to sneezes (to keep your soul in), I try to avoid sidewalk cracks if possible, I never look over my left shoulder after dark, I'm pretty wacko.
4. What CD would you not want anyone to know you have? Top Gun Soundtrack. All the songs on it get me so pumped up! It's great for workouts (Danger Zone, Great Balls of Fire, the Anthem, Playing with the Boys).
5. What was your first wake up call to life as an adult v. being a child? I've been working for 4 years, married and looking to buy an apartment, yet I still don't think I've hit that "moment."
1. If you could be an expert in anything, what would it be? I'd be a sex expert. Enough said.
2. If you were going to compete in the Olympics, what sport would you do? Maybe swimming. I just think swimmer's bodies are so beautiful. Although archery would be cool, I wouldn't mind being able to peg someone in the head with an arrow at a distance.
3. Are you superstitious about anything? Not telling a wish after you blow out the candles. Not commenting on how lucky you were that the rain held off because you forgot your umbrella. You know that will jinx it!!
4. What CD would you not want anyone to know you have? Milli Vanilli
5. What was your first wake up call to life as an adult v. being a child? Being in labor.
1. If you could be an expert in anything, what would it be?
I'd like to think that I AM an expert on lots of things, at least that's what they pay me for, but there are always new things that I'm scrambling to absorb. so an "omnicient expertise"' in all things work related would be extremely useful.
But, on a more fun note, I'd love to be an expert gardener! (learning more and more!)
2. If you were going to compete in the Olympics, what sport would you do?
I think the biathalon. I can cross country ski and shoot, but have never tried both at the same time! LOL!
3. Are you superstitious about anything?
No, I think bad luck comes from bad choices.
4. What CD would you not want anyone to know you have?
The Muppets Christmas?
5. What was your first wake up call to life as an adult v. being a child? Getting IN TO and then OUT OF credit card debt.
Two things:
1- Totally want to try the biathalon, I'm a good shot, I can cross-country ski, and I love the fact that someone thought: hey let's put the two together and make a sport of it.
2-The Muppets' Christmas is a treasure not an embarrassment!
1. Chemistry
2. Gymnastics
3. I knock on wood
4. Well if I don't want anyone to know..... why would I say it here? LOL
5. When I got excited because of all the sales the grocery store was having. That was my first adult wake up call. ?
1. If you could be an expert in anything, what would it be? I'd love to be an expert traveler. ?I am a really nervous traveler, but I love to explore other cultures. ?
2. If you were going to compete in the Olympics, what sport would you do? Swimming. I used to?compete?on a state and national level. ?
3. Are you superstitious about anything? ?I always knock on wood b/c I tend to imagine the worst and for some reason I think this will negate those?thoughts...?
4. What CD would you not want anyone to know you have? ?Humm... I have so many different weird CD's I can't possibly be?embarrassed?about any one. ?
5. What was your first wake up call to life as an adult v. being a child? When I realized how much student loan debt we have and that we will be paying it off for the rest of our lives.
1. If you could be an expert in anything, what would it be? Geography. I know the most useless geography trivia.
2. If you were going to compete in the Olympics, what sport would you do? Indoor volleyball. I don't know if I have enough power anymore but I did love hitting the ball as hard as I could when I played.
3. Are you superstitious about anything? Nope, I got married on Friday the Thirteenth, LMAO.
4. What CD would you not want anyone to know you have? Every single Ace of Base CD that ever came out.
5. What was your first wake up call to life as an adult v. being a child? When we closed on our apartment 3 years ago.
