GTown/Falls/Mequon Cake Questions!

I love, love, love Cake & Bake in Germantown but we'd have to pick up cake a day in advance b/c they are closed the day of DD's baptism. We might still do that but I'm looking into other options since it's awkward to have a big huge cake to store in summer with a busy weekend of family events and houseguests! 

Any great cakes out there from other specialty bakeries? I.e. not Pick 'N Save, Sendiks, Piggly Wiggly, etc. Anyone tried Nino's Italian Bakery? Any other great suggestions? Thanks.

 (P.S. I do highly recommend Cake & Bake!)

I have no suggestions because I really LOVE Cake and Bake. I'd make room for it, that's how much I love their cakes. I get chocolate with oreo cream filling....I'm drooling now.

I LOVE Cake and Bake. Pick 'n save and Walmart both have decent cakes. Not as good, but that what we usually get when we dont have room to store.

I think this may be out of your way, but I love Simma's cheesecake.  I had their strawberry cheesecake cake that looks like a basket of strawberries.  OMG, the BEST cheesecake ever.

Cake & Bake is a bakery in Germantown that makes great tortes and all sorts of cakes. They also have lots of frozen bakery you can buy and bake at home, and cookie/cake decorating supplies. cakeandbake.com

I'm not much help either...because I love, love, love Cake and Bake's cakes! The only other place that I like is a little far out (Sweet Creations in Slinger), but their bakery items are delicious too.  I ordered a cake from Walmart for DD's 2nd b-day and the frosting/filling was so fake tasting.  Cake & Bake is sooo much better!

Have you checked out Brookfield Wedding Cakes (brookfieldweddingcakes.com)?  She does other cakes too, and she's right on the border between Brookfield and the Falls.
