OB dr. East Clinic (Madison)
I'm a sometimes poster/mostly lurker (but going to change that). We found that I'm pregnant over the weekend so i called my dr. today. Was given the choice of a dr. or midwife. I choose midwife, anyone have any experiences at the Madison East Clinic with Midwives? Thanks!

Congrats!! I have only had 2 appointments, the first (right after I found out) was just with a nurse to go over family history/info and the second (at about 7 weeks) was with a midwife...for that appointment I had Callie Christianson, she was great! It sounds like there are 4 of them that are mainly at the east clinic on Mondays and Wednesdays (I think). Then which ever one of them (and it could be the midwives from the west side too...I think there are 8 total between the 2) is on call when you go to deliver will be with you at the hospital. I am really happy with my choice so far.
