Cleaning My Dress

Any suggestions from those with personal experience as to where I can get my dress cleaned and preserved?

TIA!

Re: Cleaning My Dress

  • I used wedclean. they got a huge blob of gum out of the bottom of my dress and all of the stains. Service was quick and I liked the prepaid packaging they shipped to me after I ordered from them.
  • Oh, and I paid $99 but I think there may be discounts floating around for them.
  • I had a great experience with my regular dry cleaner
  • I used WedClean.com also, but I think I paid more like $185.
  • wedclean

It was $99 for the dress and extra for other accessories.

ditto, I think I paid about 150? I know I paid up the butt for insurance - knowing my luck, it would have gotten "lost."

  • i think gownpreservation.com is the service i used.  similar to wedclean, but they include up to 2 accessories in the base price, which is slightly higher than weclean, but cheaper if you have accessories.  they send you prepaid stuff, too.  it was easy, and i was happy with the service.
  • oops, that's the service but you can't pay them directly.  here's the local distributor i used:

  • Hmm Wedclean definitely raised their prices awhile ago but it looks like they are back down to $99. When I was price checking, I ended up going through Affordable Wedding Dress Preservation since their prices were better http://www.affordablepreservation.com/

I'm expecting my dress to arrive today actually so I'll let you know. There were a few girls on the OC knot that used Affordable Wedding Dress Preservation company and were happy with it.

  • Thank you ladies!!
