I'm giving up my work printer and looking for a photo printer instead. I'm still doing some scrapbooking, so I'd like to find some that has good quality but doesn't cost a fortune in toner.
Tell me about your printer. Do you like it? Have any recs?
TIA!

Re: Photo printers
I bought a Canon on Sat for graphic design stuff. I picked that one so I could print on envelopes and cardstock (it has a back feeder). I was also looking at the HP photosmart printers and liked the 5 ink cartridges but didn't like the loop feed (cardstock/env. will get jammed).
Canon also has a small inexpensive photo printer.
I went with Canon because I consider them a recognized brand and I've heard some consumer issues with HP lately. I found a great review of photo printers by googling
I have a really small one that my husband bought me 4 years ago and I've hardly ever used it. It might not be what you're looking for but I'm going to sell it at a garage sale in a few months so if you wanted it you could have it! I'd part with it + some paper I have leftover and all the cords, etc for 20$. It's a HP Photosmart 245. Here's a link of it on amazon:
