Pedicures?

I would love any suggestions on a good, but not crazy expensive, place in KC I can take my mom for a pedicure. She's never had one, so I want it to be a good experience for her. I am also in serious need of a good pedi. I will be in KC visiting next week. Thanks ladies.

I am always a fan of Beauty Brands, There are several throughout KC, so you should be able to find one close to where your mom is. What part of KC is she in? That might help us narrow it down for you!

I agree with Pennyandandy. Beauty Brands is always a safe bet. I know their mani/pedi combos run about $60 for both - I can't remember the break out.

I also don't mind going to the mom and pop places that are on just about every corner. I think a pedi runs about $30...?

My parents live in Raytown, if that helps. Have you heard of Polished Nail Salon down in the Power & Light District? Someone on the Knot recommended it. I guess it is fairly new.

Not sure where you will be IN KC, but Salon Oasis in Liberty (KC, north really) ...Tia`....she is the best. But, it is about $55, I think.  But, clean and she takes her time and doesn't EVER EVER hurt me! or even tickle me. I hate some places that scrub the foot where it is soft and it tickles too much.

Salon Envogue in Zona Rosa was very nice and not super expensive.
