I've wanted a cat for awhile. But I'm very allergic. DH has had cats before but his cats were all inside cats and I couldn't handle that. I thought about an outside cat but DH doesn't like the idea of an outside cat. So I looked online to see about hypoallergenic cats..actually found one (google Lifestyle Pets) that people with allergies can actually own. But the price for one of these cats is crazy.
Well the other day a cat came to the house. A young male cat. This one was actually friendly -as opposed to others that have come up and acted friendly till you reach down to pet them and instead jerk back a bloody hand-
So we've actually been feeding this one and got him a flea collar and stuff. I'm not real informed when it comes to cats, being allergic to them and all. So it took awhile trying to figure out if it was a boy or girl....
Its so nice to have a animal that won't get all slobbery and stuff when all you want to do is sit and read or something. I'll go out and sit on the porch. pet the cat for awhile then go inside and change clothes and wash exposed skin (my allergies are bad).
DH likes the cat and the cat just loves DH...follows him around everywhere while DH is working outside or what not.
No one ever told me what a personality cats have! He is a sweet fun
loving little cat! We haven't named him yet...everytime I think about
names he disappears...but when I figure he's gone he shows up within
the hour. maybe we'll just have to stick with the name "cat" lol
Re: so I kinda sorta have a cat!

Hope
she's a girl.... and she is likely pregnant.
We named her Sydney. After she has this litter we are getting her fixed.
We are hoping to get homes for the little ones when they come.
