BEST Anniversary Present...
As you all know, we decided to buy our first home and started looking a few weeks ago. As you also know, the traditional 1st Wedding Anniversary gift is paper... well we signed a whole bunch of it this afternoon, and as of 6:30 tonight (the same time we were giving our vows last year) we are officially in escrow!!!!
I can't believe we found a house we love so quickly, and it has everything I wanted and is even in our first choice neighborhood, Rolando. It is a small home, but I keep telling myself that just means there's less to clean (plus it is our "starter" home). The great news is that the entire home has been upgraded, and is move-in ready. The only thing we're going to do is paint the interior, since I'm not a fan of the colors it's painted now.
We are hoping to close escrow within 30 days, and move in the weekend of June 6th.
We're just praying that escrow goes smoothly and nothing odd comes up. Keep your fingers crossed for us please!
