I recently moved to Nashville from Pennsylvania and was hoping that the Tennessee Nest board would be more active than it is.  Where is everyone?

Re: Kurlyeeann - I really like it.  I went to college at Vandy, so it wasn't a totally new move.  We are gradually settling in.  Congrats on your recent wedding!

I stop in every once in a while.  This board is REALLY slow though (I actually still go to the NJ board b/c it's so much more active!).  I just moved here about 8 months ago.  How old is your daughter?  She's beautiful.  My little girl's name is Abigail (I think I see your daugter's middle name is Abigail!)

Raesue: Your twins are SO cute!  My daughter (pictured with her bff from Pittsburgh) just turned 2 in March and is going on 16 already.  We have seriously had arguments over clothing already.  I still post on my previous local board, since it is way more active.

Tarheels: Thanks for checking out my blog.  I still want to be Jem, sometimes, secretly.  I am excited for the 4th, just praying that we won't get any summer downpours that day.  

Alright ladies, we need to have a Nashville nestie GTG if we can get some sort of quorum.  Or at least meet up for happy hour somewhere.  We'll see...

There are at least 5 or 6 of us that are active on the Money Matters board, and there are several others active on What's Cooking. This board is always pretty slow, but people are good about answering specific questions.

I think we did a GTG in 2007.  It was on a worknight, though, and in Franklin.  I ended up just being too tired to drive to it.

I vote for a GTG closer into the city, like the 12 South area, Cool Springs or Germantown, so it isn't too far away for any particular person to get to.  Weekday or weekend night?

Glad you are settling in good.  Thanks for the congratulations.  I can't believe we have almost been married a year!  Did you all move here for a job or something like that?  We are originally from East TN but moved here from GA after DH finished his masters because I was offered a job with the state.  It's a slower pace than the Atlanta area (thank goodness) and we are happy to be closer to family again.

We relocated to Nashville for work.  I am a pediatrician and DH works for an insurance company.  I love the pace of Nashville, too.  I am looking forward to getting the know the city again.

Welcome back.  I'm usually on 9 to 5 or the Bump boards.  I always forget to come here actually (mostly because nothing ever changes!).  I wouldn't mind having a GTG either, since I am always looking for new friends.

I live in Franklin. I have a small farm & I run my own business. My business is crazy busy right now, and when I'm not working I am running back & forth to Kentucky for horse shows & stuff.
