Old Navy maternity clothes
Thoughts? Other recommendations for clothes? I'm not quite needing them yet, but will need pants sooner than tops. I've looked at Target, but our store doesn't have a whole lot of clothes to choose from. Other pants I've looked at have a full panel. I can't stand anything above my bellybutton! I saw the Old Navy pants have several different options and wanted to know what has worked or what people have liked. Other store recommendations would be great too!
Re: Old Navy maternity clothes
Gap maternity, Ann Taylor LOFT maternity...and (I can't believe I'm recommending them), but Motherhood has good pants.
Just FYI, I don't think Ann Taylor Loft has maternity right now. I do think they are bringing it back, but not until fall.
I like Old Navy's low rise. and their full panel. Gap's roll panel, but NOT ON's roll panel. I also LOVE Motherhood's secret fit belly.
Full panel stays up better, IMO. I have to use a bella band on basically all of my pants, anyway. I have no butt to speak of and apparently you're supposed to have booty when you're pregnant. All my pants fall down.

Ditto!
I liked Old Navy Maternity, but the Easttowne store doesn't carry maternity (that I have seen). They were the only store that really carried small enough sizes for me. I have a pair of motherhood jeans from Babies R Us, but I hate them because they are so baggy in the butt. I have heard good things about Gap pants.
Motherhood seems to have the most selection for cute tops, though their stuff doesn't seem to go on sale, and their return policy is awful. And their sales people are so pushy!
I have found some of my favorite casual tops are from Target.
I had really good luck with the Maternity section of Lady Moxie too. It's consignment, but higher end.
Good luck! I hated shopping for maternity clothes.
My favorite jeans by far have been the pair I bought at GAP. They were expensive, but I had a coupon and they were *kinda* on sale (they were on sale the day before, but someone forgot to take the 30% off jeans sign down, and then I came in with my coupon and they rang the jeans up not on sale. I called them on it, asking why the sale price didn't ring up. Turns out the sale was over, but they still had to give me the sale price plus the coupon because of the false advertisement! Wish I had bought 2 pairs that day!)
I have a pair of khakis from ON and they are just okay on me. I have had good luck with their shirts though. I bought a bunch on clearance.
I have capris that I love from Macy's and a pair of jeans from Kohls (Oh Baby by Motherhood brand) that I don't like. I also got a pair of capris at Kohls too, I just do not like the way they fit.
I did go to the Motherhood store in Brookfield, the back of the store has the more affordable clothing and I got some decent stuff there on the clearance and sale racks. I also bought my maternity swimsuit there, from the higher priced section, but it was SO worth it. I love it and I HATE wearing bathing suits....but I needed one for a water aerobics class I am taking.
I just went to the JCPenny outlet on silver spring drive, and they have a big selection of maternity pants, shorts, capris, shirts and skirts. A few bras too. I picked up a few things for $7.99 each.
I hated the full panel that stretches over your belly too. But, I have found that the closer I am to my due date and the bigger I am getting, the smaller "demi" panel (I think that's what it is called) doesn't stay in place well under my belly, it rolls down and bunches up. So now, the full stretchy panel is coming in handy as it keeps my pants from falling down!
My favorite pants were Motherhood secret fit belly, second favorite was Gap.
I liked Old Navy maternity tops, but they run big. I needed an XL towards the end with both pregnancies in most maternity shirts, but some of the Old Navy were almost too baggy. I don't have a very big chest though, and apparently all pregnant women that need a L or XL are supposed to have huge boobs. ;-)
