This is crazy!! Who are these women??
I found this site while lurking on another board. It's a forum made for women dissapointed about the gender of their babies. I felt like I was in the twillight zone while reading it. Some women are talking about abortion because they dont want another boy... one had 7 girls and is pregnant. I dont like to judge other and their decisions (especially since I am not in their shoes) .. but WOW!

I agree that its very sad/disappointing/upsetting and horrible for people to read what those women are writing. Being someone that will never get to experience child birth it is all of those things to me, however I can't really judge them because of the same. I am up in the air about abortion and think that it is a VERY touchy subject. One that I do not talk about.
Them being disappointed about the gender of their child, they have no control over that outcome, and I think that if they were as disappointed as they say, there are many many people out there that would be greatful to except that child into their home. Another opition is STOP HAVING CHILDREN. If you aren't going to be happy about the gender just STOP!
Wow - that's really sad. I could only read the first post - I hope that the children they do have don't feel the mom's disappointment that they weren't a diff gender...
Well there's one lady that after all her boys (and dissapointments) she says that she refuses to adopt a girl because she wouldnt want a child that doesn't look like her and DH ... coo coo!
ditto!! i think women that think like that need to seek for mental treatment. they do not value the gift they are given w/the ability to have children. when i see ppl that are stupid like this i seriously wonder why can they have kids and others can't.
OMG, that is so sad. there are so many women out there TTC and these idiots on this site are complaining because they are having either a boy or a girl. This is ridiculous and they need to stop having kids if they are relying on abortions.
So sad.

They get CVSs and Amnios so they abort in the 1st trimester, not that is makes it ok AT ALL, just saying they don't abort at 20+ weeks.
These women must be suffering from severe PPD and/or depression to feel this way. I feel so sorry for their current children and even for them because this mental illness must rip them apart

I second this. FI and I are all for selective fertility. From someone who is 25 and facing a possible hysterectomy by the age of 27, and who has TTC for the last year with no luck ... these women should be counting their lucky stars. They obviously have NO idea the gift they are receiving.
It seriously make me so incredibly angry .....
