Q re: driving through upper NY state
is anyone famliar with the roads around the adriondack park? we are coming from kingston (ontario) and travelling by car to bolton landing, lake george and are wondering if we are better off taking the I83 down to Syracuse -> Utica -> Albany -> bolton Landing
OR
if it is better to cut through the park on those 'other' roads. (see map).
any advice?
