In laws visiting need recs

So my inlaws will be in town starting tomorrow for 10 days (yes 10 days!!!).

I'm at a loss for how to spend their time while they are here.  Last time they were down we did: Fort Worth Zoo, Aquarium on the World, Dealey Plaza/6th Floor Museum, Ft. Worth Stockyards.

What are some other things that are fun for the whole family?  Our daughter is 2 so they need to be toddler friendly as well.

Thanks!

Re: In laws visiting need recs

  • OMG....10 Whole Days! I guess it's depending on what they like to do and how much time do you have. I think FTW(Sundance Square) is having movie nights, Victory Park (AAC area), DMA, Famers Market (fresh veggies & fruit) and maybe take a ride on the TRE train from Dallas to Ft Worth or vice versa & have lunch. We rode the TRE from FTW to Dallas and had lunch in the West End. Those days will go by sooner than you know it.
  • downtown Dallas is having an art festival this weekend and all admission to museums is free. The Nasher Sculpture Center is definitley worth a visit.

  • The Dallas Arboretum

    Rangers game

  • Thanks for the recommendations.

I emphasized 10 days as 10 days with the in laws staying in your house is pretty lengthy...I'd prefer 4-5 days.

  • Grapevine does a Farmer's market downtown on Saturday mornings and they have fireworks at the lake on Friday nights
  • FW Concerts in the Garden at the Botanical Gardens?  Tickets start at $15 and they finish with fireworks.

Warning No formatter is installed for the format bbhtml
  • The Gaylord always has stuff going on, you can just walk around and see the place.  They also do a firework viewing party for free on the roof of the parking garage every Friday.
