P.O.T.D: Top 3 Faves About Being an Oregonian
1) Beauuuutiful parks/nature/wildlife; and the respect for them that seems to be an intrinsic part of the culture. PDX is very green!
2) Artisan Beer and Wine
3) The eclectic mix of people/cultures. I love the diversity here

Well, since I'm a Californian, I can't truly answer but those 3 things are EXACTLY why I want to be an Oregonian. Especially #2.
Learning to start all over again... Blog
1) The People! Oregonians are great.
2) Our beaches. Though I adore the tropics, when I lived in Hawaii I missed a gray cold WA/OR beach (I had to through Washington in there because that's where I spend the most time)
3) Being able to take a day trip to the river, ocean, mountain, dessert you name it, we have it all.
1) Liberal attitude in the Portland area. That and the bike-friendliness reminds me of Europe.
2) Beer and wine
3) Access to mountains, waterfalls, forests, etc.?
