new to Chicago- need vet recommendation in Dtown
Hi Ladies-
I'm new to Chicago and my DH and I are renting in Streeterville right now. Any recommendations for a vet nearby?
TIA!

If you head north to Lakeview, I recommend Blum Animal Hospital on Clark. It's where Oprah takes her dogs (ok someone for Oprah..... or they probably make house calls for her). Anyway, I take my dog there and they are great.

Because we're fancy like that.
We took our 7 yr old Lab to the Family Vet in Lincoln Park (previously mentioned) when he had an emergency when we just moved here. They were good and gave us an emergency vist. However, we switched vets due to the location and the hours.
We are currently using Compassionate Vet over on Larabee & Lincoln (3 way intersection). It is an easy walk for us (versus having to deal with parking). We haven't had complaints about them. Since Conrad is getting older we wanted to take him to a vet who has some additional speciality in older animals.
