Hello all I am looking for a salon that's not as pricy as the I am going to now( Mario Tricoci). So I am looking for suggestions  for different salons in  the overland park lenexa, shawnee or  leawood  area because I would like to get my hair highlighted soon and not cost and arm and a leg thanks..

So, if you are looking for a cheaper hole-in-the-wall place, I know this might be a little out of your way, but there is a younger gal named Katie at Bangz in Bonner Springs that does FABULOUS color jobs and cuts. (913)422-7887 I can't remember how much a highlight would cost, but it has to be cheaper than what you payed at Mario Triccoci

I don't live on the KS side, but my friend lives in OP and gets her hair done at Last Tangle on Antioch, and she loves it.

I went to regis in Manhattan and my hair dresser suggested Kerrie at Regis in Overland Park when she knew I was moving here.

My sisters go to Bangz (I think there is one in Basehor too, but I'm not sure.) and they have fabulous haircuts. ?

I am not sure if you have already figured out where you are going to go, but I have a suggestion as well.  It's not in the area that you said, but it's cheap and good so it might be worth the drive.  It's in Liberty, MO.  It's called Studio 152 (or Salon 152..I can never remember).

I go to Jessica.  I get color/highlights, cut, style, and eyebrow wax and it costs me $60.  Plus, I get 2 colors in my hair for that price.  I was going to beauty brands and paying about $120 and I think that was only for one color.  And Jessica is really great with cuts, etc.

I'm glad you posted this because I am going to check it out because we live in NKC.
