Did you ever post your birth story? I don't remember seeing it!
Re: The_Jen...
I haven't yet... basically too lazy to sit and type it all out, it was crazy! Here goes:
Long story short... at 41w3d started having contractions, had an induction scheduled for midnight that night, was having crazy hard contractions at 10 pm, went to the hospital at midnight, got checked in and settled in room at 1 am, baby's heart rate was decelerating with my contractions, did an emergency c/s (which was so scary at the time!) and Bianca was born at exactly 2:30 am. The cord was wrapped twice tight around her neck, she came out dark purple, got 9's on her tests, and was normal color within about 2 minutes. I lost 1500 ml of blood afterwards, they expected me to lose between 300-500 ml, so they kept me under crazy surveillance in the hospital for 5 days afterwards. While in the hospital, B lost too much birth weight, had a high fever of 100.8, and was severely dehydrated. We supplemented with formula and she bounced right back. DH was really freaked out because I didn't do so well, and then B was having some issues...it was a hard time for him.
And all has been great ever since!
OMG Jen, I had no idea! Your miracle baby really IS a miracle! I'm so glad you are both so happy and glowing now...she is so lucky to have you and vice versa. Cant wait to meet her soon!
Thank God you guys are both ok. Seriously.
