We bought ours on sale at Best Buy. We looked for about 2 months and they usually had the best prices. It is a kitchen aid and if i remember right it was about $1100
We got a really good deal on ours at Lowe's. Then tend to do sales or offer incentives fairly often.
I also suggest checking out the Sears discount store. Some of their things have major scratches and dents, but there are always ones that have a little scratch on the side or something and is marked down a lot.
We bought our Maytag from Lowes. They had their Energy Star appliances on sale plus I had a 10% off coupon which I got from a change of address packet that I picked up at the post office.
HD and Lowes seem to have their Energy Star appliances on sale pretty regularly and both places will price match + an extra 10%, I believe.
We got ours at fry's. It was uber cheap because we bought the floor model! (Not a thing wrong with it - we just didn't get a box.)
I'd suggest researching models and price checking everywhere, because most places will do price matches. We got our gas range at Lowes WAY cheaper than they listed it bc Sears had it on sale bigtime one weekend and we ran up to Lowes with the ad and they did their 110% price guarantee. So find the cheapest price on one they carry and they'll give you an extra 10% off of that!?
