Looking for a media job...
I currently work for a big newspaper here in Dallas, but also have TV experience and am looking for some type of media relations/coordinator position with a company outside of the media industry. Does anyone have any suggestions of companies to look at or specific positions available?

What about working in media relations at a University?
I know we have a pretty developed media relations department at UTA as would any of the other local Universities...UNT, TCU, UT-Dallas, SMU.
My husband still has Dallas connections (he's in TV) -- email me and I'd be happy to let you talk to him. At the very least, I know he's got media-related headhunter info -- he can put you in touch with them.
