Californian visiting Bend
We took a family vacation there last year and had the best time. Unfortunately the home we rented is not available for our dates. So we've been seaching VRBO and found this house. Anyone know the area? Or maybe this place? Or have any ideas for a group of 9. This is a group of three couples with a total of 3 children.

I am not familiar with that area too much, except that we drive through it regularly when going from PDX to Bend. The house looks nice and it looks pretty secluded if that's what you're looking for. Sisters is a great place to visit and so is Bend.
You might also check out vacation rentals in Sunriver. It's just south of Bend and there are plenty of rental agencies. In the past I've had good luck with Village Properties Sunriver. I don't know what dates you're looking for, but I found a 4bd-3bath at the end of May for $1000 through them.
My amateur photo blog
I live in Bend. This is in the Tumalo area and there's honestly not too much there since mostly a farming area. Of course that's always nice and relaxing, but it wouldn't be a good fit if you wanted a place within walking distance to shopping & food. You really are only 10-15 minutes from both downtown Bend and Sisters, so it's not like it's in the boonies. The house sounds really nice
Tumalo Feed Company is yummy though! I can definitely vouch for that!
