Hi Cory- thanks for the comment! we're really excited about the house, but its kind of scary too.
?right now we're still in our apartment, just slowly moving in over the month of May and doing work on the house. its such a cute little bungalow, you would never guess its hiding all kinds of trouble! ?
I know that scary feeling, but it'll pass soon. I forgot to look at home, but I can't wait to see pix. We should get together soon. We're looooong over due.
When do you close?
we actually closed last friday, but we are not even close to moving in yet. i'm exhausted from the cleaning and the painting.?
i actually wanted to ask you about refinishing floors. didn't you have some floors done in your house? i would like to have our living room done (finished and stained to match the rest of the floors), but i'm afraid that it would be really expensive. ?
Wow, sounds like one heck of a weekend. When are you shooting to move in? Did you have fun picking out paint colors? Do you have a Pabst-themed room?
Yes, we did have our floors refinished. Everything but the kitchen and bathrooms. For that many rooms it usually costs about $2500 - $3000. If you want me to recommend our guy (who is a friend), let me know.
Did you take time off from work to do house stuff? If not, you must be wiped out.

Nice job. How's the work coming along? I'm supposed to be painting a stairwell right now, but instead I'm on thenest. Shame on me!
