ok, so i've had some friends do this for me in the past but after 20 months of job hunting (yay for a *** economy) and wanting to change industries, i think it's time for professional help. ?
any recommendations?
how much did they charge?
i've been in book publishing for most of the past 10 years and would like to move into non-profit. i am in the advertising & promotions department so basically anything in marketing would be a good fit.?
we're planning to move to d.c. next year so i'm hoping this will help that job search b/c i'll most likely be looking for non-profit and government jobs.
and if you done it and didn't feel it was worthwhile, i'd like that perspective too.?any ideas are appreciated!?

Re: resume revamp
i'll look into job fox, thanks!
i know that mediabistro had a similarly priced option but since i'm looking to get OUT of publishing, i don't know how helpful that would be.
i posted this on the 9 to 5 board so they have more info, i'll let you know. i'm so, so tired of looking, applying, and dealing with sh*tty HR people so maybe this will help . . .?
