6/15 question

How was everyone's weekend?

The only big trip for us was going to the Greenville Zoo. The rest of the weekend was relaxing. :-)

Re: 6/15 question

  • Great weekend for us.

I talk all the time about my hubby and me being huge hockey fans.  We love the penguins and had a party on friday night for the Stanley Cup finals...so we were ecstatic when they won!

Then we did the usual dancin on Saturday (where I twisted my ankle, but I'm fine).  Sunday was just a slow day, but we made it out to Whole Foods and I made Seafood Alfredo for dinner.

  • We had a fabulous weekend!!  We didn't do much at all Friday night.

Saturday, we went to the hardware store and picked up some stuff and got some lunch and a local hamburger joint.

Saturday night we celebrated our 2 year anniversary (it's tomorrow 6/16) at the Melting Pot in Greenville... we went to Falls Park first.  I had never been to Falls Park and now think I could live there if it was allowed... it is my new favorite place.

Sunday, my DH, my dad and my uncle set posts for our chain link doggie play area!!!  Yay, I can put them out for a while when I'm at home...

  • Ama, sorry about your ankle. But yay for being Stanley Cup Champions. :-)

C.G, DH and I just went to Falls Park for the first time last weekend. It's amazing. I'm already planning many outings for the near future. And yay for the doggie play area. Our pups needs that. That'll come with a house, so no time soon. :-(

  • Ours was good.  We did a few things around the house, but for the most part it was relaxing.  We went to the new church we're probably going to join.  We just want to go to this one a couple more times and one different one to make sure.

  • Exciting! Is the church close to you guys? Is it similar or different to HT?

It's about 10-15 minutes away, so pretty close.  It's pretty large- much bigger than Holy Trinity!  I would say that it's different- it has a different mix of people since it's not in a college town.  It's hard to judge after two visits (to two different types of services), but I hope we'll end up loving it just as much!
