Almost two weeks ago I ordered some jeans online from American Eagle and about a week later nothing had arrived. I checked my email for the order information and couldn't find anything. I thought maybe I had typed my email address incorrectly and that's why I didn't get anything. I figured I should give it awhile longer since sometimes orders get backorderd. Well it's now been almost two weeks and still nothing. I checked my bank account and nothing had gone through. I start thinking maybe it didn't go through at all.
I pick out other pair and decide this time I will actually set up an account with them so I didn't have the same problem again. I didn't the first time because I was at work and not supposed to be shopping online. I entered all my info and it pulls up my order! It states it's still processing and the amount looks incorrect. The coupon code does show up.
I called customer service and the girl was awesome. Turns out my order got stuck somewhere and was not going to go through. She cancled it and put it through again with the coupon code, which btw had already expired. Then she tells me she was going to give me free shipping. Wohoo!
So I am really excited and just had to share since my experience with customer service was great. Not something that happens very often!
