Anyone recently married in Bham?
Hi y'all, I'm getting married in Birmingham next May, and I asked this question on the The Knot's Alabama board, but I wanted to ask for advice here as well.
Has anyone had any experience (good or bad) with Catering2U? We are thinking of using them to cater our reception, but I was hoping to find someone who may have used them in the past to give me some feedback. Thanks!
Re: Anyone recently married in Bham?
Tim (aka Rod Stewart..looks just like him) did our reception and we couldn't have made a better choice. The food was fantastic and the stuff we weren't sure about he made beforehand so we could try it and everything was really yummy. I would def. use him again.
Besides the food we decided to go with him for 2 other reasons as well. 1) I used to work at a party rental store so I already knew him and that he was easy to work with and 2) when I ran into him at the bridal show at the BJCC he was the only caterer to actually call me back and he did so first thing the next day.
Blog!
He does look like Rod Stewart! He's been very helpful and attentive so far, in our initial consultations, etc. My concern was that he said we wouldn't be able to taste anything until his next wedding, which isn't for 2 more weeks. There is (supposedly) another couple looking at our date, so I wanted to go ahead and book his services, but was hesitant to do so without tasting anything first. Thanks for the input!
Anyone else with opinions, feel free to give em!
