Need a great stylist.

I need a good but still affordable stylist south of PDX. Live in Canby, work in Wilsonville, willing to travel up I-5 or 205 as far as about Clackamas or 217 on the I-5 side. I am considering a ::gasp:: perm. I know they are not what they used to be, but I'm nervous to let a stranger put chemicals on my head. I don't want crazy 80's permed hair. I just haven't found the right stylist who can offer suggestions or feedback about what they think would work for me.

Re: Need a great stylist.

  • I just started going to my hair person, Blanton Shauniger. She has a little shop outside of her house near Hawthorne/50th. She is amazing. I wanted a short cut (cut off 11 inches) and my hair is thin (I am half asian), but I have a lot of it. So it would pouf out with every other person (77, Dosha etc).

Granted, I didn't have a perm. If you want her info, I can post her number.

  • I love my gal...

Dannielle at Novare Salon in Sellwood... she's awesome.
