Puppies in the Street!

So today I had a half day. I'm driving home and in my neighborhood and there are two little puppies in the middle of the street! So there are construction workers in and out all day, so the traffic right now is actually busy.. So I went home and Mike was off today so I was like um there are two puppies in the middle of the street. I'm not a huge dog person, so I wouldn't have felt comfortable trying to move them myself.

So we go over and get the dogs onto a neighbors lawn and they have no collars. It's the middle of the day, so there aren't that many people home, but we started knocking on doors on that street. Nobody knew who owned them. So finally we knocked on the door of a house and the lady answers and Mike is like are these your dogs? They were in the middle of the street. And she was just like, oh yeah they escape through the fence sometimes. Um hello? Then fix it. She didn't even say thanks. I was pissed. They could have got run over!

Grrrrr.... people like that pi$$ me off. I hope she breaks a perfectly manicured nail and that it hurts!!!!

Poor babies! I HATE seeing dogs roaming the streets - there's a cute labrodoodle that wanders our neighborhood. Collars and everything and the owner's just don't care. Good for you for knocking on all the doors.

I hate seeing that type of thing. One morning, I had to take DH to work, and when I was leaving, I saw a dog who had just got hit by a car in the middle of the rd. There was a little dog just doing circles around his friend and then looking up at the cars passing. There were 3 other little dogs on the side of the road just watching the whole thing. It was the absolute most horrible scene I think I've ever witnessed in my life.

People like that are so terrible.  A co worker rescued two basset hounds last week b/c they were wanding the streets.
