Babysitter Recs?
Hi all,
I generally post over on the knot message boards as I'm in the midst of wedding planning but in this case I am trying to help out a friend. She is fairly new to the Hollywood/Miracle Mile area and is trying to find a babysitter for her 5 year old son for occasional weekend nights out with her boyfriend and/or friends. None of our other friends have children, so we aren't able to give her recommendations. I told her about how I've found all of my wedding vendors from these boards and how everyone here gives great recommendations, so I'm hoping someone can recommend a babysitter for her.

Not sure how far this is from her but Loyola Marymount University in Westchester has a list of students that apply to earn some extra money by babysitting. I don't know if there's any requirements for their students to be on the list (I think they have to be in good academic standing). You may want to try that. I believe it's through their Student Employment Office. I know it was heavily utilized by some acquaintances of mine.
