Angie, I just have a question about the stenciling that you did in Spud's room(BTW, which turned out awesome!). Did you have to paint the design on the wall or is it a sticker type of stencil?
Also if you don't mind me asking where you got the cute saying for the wall above the crib? Did they have any other phrases? We are looking for somethng like that to finish off Alexis's room.

The stenciling in the room is a 4 piece stencil, one overlay for each color. You don't need to paint or trace anything onto the wall first but you do have to map out the stencil around the whole room before you get started so that the over lays will all line up properly. The stencil itself is a firmer flexible plastic (if that makes sense) I used a couple pieces of painters tape to hold the stencil to the wall while I filled in the color. I went around the whole room and did stencil #1, then stencil #2, etc. All said and done it took me about 8 hours to do the whole room.
As for the saying, I picked it up at a store called Twisted Goods. They have lots of different sayings you can see all of them as well as where to buy them at walltalk.com the only thing I wish is that we had got it in black rather then silver becuase the silver is kind of hard to see on the wall. It was really easy to put up too only took about 5 minutes.

Betty, I got vinyl lettering for D's room online, from a lady who lives in Ontario. She does custom, so whatever you want, however you want, and she gets it to you quickly. We corresponded via email and kept sending the draft back and forth until it was just perfect. Easy and we love it!
