british jen & other "time traveler's wife" fans
I just saw the trailer for the movie:

It looks sooooooooooooo good!!!!!!! Rachel McAdams looks gorgeous and Eric Bana is my celebrity husband. I really, really hope it's good. And I love that they used that Lifehouse song for the trialer...such a good song and so fitting for the book. Yay for August 15th!!!
p.s. - jen, i read the book several months ago after you mentioned on here a while ago that it was one of your favorites.
Re: british jen & other "time traveler's wife" fans
Holy cow, I didn't know they were making the book into a movie. I loved this book (read it a few months ago) and couldn't put it down.
I finished reading My Sister's Keeper a few weeks ago and can't wait to see the movie. Although I can't picture Cameron Diaz as the mom. I was definitely picturing a burnette. Should be interesting.
I haven't read My Sister's Keeper, but I've heard that a lot of Jodi Picoult fans are not happy with the choice of Cameron Diaz for that role. I hope it's good! There's nothing worse than seeing a book you love get butchered by the movie version
Speaking of which, has anyone seen Angels & Demons yet? I heard it was a better book-to-movie adaptation than what they did with The Da Vinci Code. I still don't see Tom Hanks as Robert Langdon.
My Sister's Keeper is a really heartwrenching story. It's just difficult to think of Cameron acting serious... she plays such a good dumb blond, you kind of think of her as one!
I haven't seen Angels and Demons yet, but its definitely on my list. I was (as usual) disappointed with Da Vinci Code movie vs book... I hope A&D is better!
