Haydn Zugs?

DH and I are going there for the 1st time on Friday for our 5 year anniversary!  I remember hearing that it was really good.  Has anyone been there before?  What kind of attire is appropriate for the guys?  Wasn't sure if DH should wear a jacket or even a suit.   I couldn't tell from looking @ the website.  TIA!

Re: Haydn Zugs?

  • where is it? I've never heard of it...
  • There used to be a Hadyn's on Pine Street in Harrisburg. DH and I went there once or twice. We always dressed nicely. DH wore a jacket and tie, but I don't think it was necessary. I'm not sure if Hadyn Zugs is the same way. We always had great meals. I hope you have a happy anniversary!

  • It's actually walking distance from my house, so I drive by a lot and see people going in and it is definitely dressier - the older men usually seem to have a jacket on, though I'm not sure if that's an actual dress code or not. Maybe you can call them ahead of time and ask, just in case it is a required thing? Have fun and Happy Anniversary!!!

I think it's in Manheim.  I've always wanted to try it but have never been.

  • It is in East Petersburg. Ryan and I have eaten there 3 times, and loved it. We enjoy fine dining and love to try new places, but Haydn Zugs quickly became a favorite. Happy Anniversary! Party!!!
  • It's on the corner of 72 and I forget the other street, east Pete almost in the Manheim address if  remember correctly. I haven't been there in years, but I keep thinking about it. Dh and I had gone there for Valentines Day many moons ago. I think he just wore a shirt and tie, though a polo is probably ok,too especially if you are going earlier in the evening, like right after work.
