um how have i missed this new posting awesomeness
thanks SD for getting the posts rolling.. 
i've been crazy busy lately so i haven't been able to check this board much..
but for those of you who might not remember...i'm moving out to Portland with my husband (from Michigan) because he is going to be going to law school in the fall..
our move date is FAST approaching...one week from tomorrow...and we can't wait! we still have SO much packing to do...but we're getting so excited!
the trip is definitely going to be an adventure..i'm actually off to make hotel reservations after this since we have 4 pets and can only stay at pet friendly hotels along the way..it's going to be insane.
i'm hoping once we get out there maybe we can plan a coffee or dinner gtg?

I think most Red Lion hotel's are pet friendly...And I would love a GTG soon, I love GTG's! LOL
YAY...thanks for the thanks. I sometimes think everyone is tired of seeing my name here. I mean, I'M tired of seeing my name here! I don't even live here yet...but from the sound of my husbands current trip to OR, it's meant to be.

I am also down for a GTG. My DH and I are relatively new to the area, AND we had a whopper of a time finding a place that would take our dog bc this state considers him an aggressive attack dog, lol! Its the one thing that makes me sad about OR; otherwise i love it
(no, he's not a pittie!).
Anyway, we can help with pet advice if you ever need it. The good news is that its a VERY dog freindly city-most ppl here love dogs; Its just getting someone to rent to you with them thats the issue. You will all love it here.
woooo hoo! glad to see everyone's in for a GTG...i'll have to post once we're out there and settled, and we can put on together!
