I am in a bit of a pickle, let me start with some background information. We have only lived here since March when I started my new job. In May DH's parents took us on a family cruise so I had to ask off for time after only being employed two months. I don't have any time built up to take off like we would have liked to, so because of my lack of leave time we are going to be staying in Nashville. Our one year anniversary is this weekend and my plans for Saturday are not going to go as planned. It's looking like it's going to be in the 90s which is kind of hot for a zoo visit (knowing how we are). I had planned on taking DH to the zoo and then we are going to stay in a hotel downtown and have a nice dinner. My question is do you all have any ideas for a more indoor activity to do Saturday? Like I said I'm new to the area so all I know is to search on the internet and I haven't found anything I'm crazy about yet.
Any ideas??
Re: Anniversary Day Idea
Have you checked out Now Playing Nashville yet? http://www.nowplayingnashville.com/ You can put in the date and it will give you a list of events. Almost everything I can think of is outdoors this weekend. Have you all checked out the Frist Center yet? If you enjoy art... that is fun and also downtown. Here is their website http://www.fristcenter.org/site/default.aspx.
I'll keep thinking and see if I can'tcome up with something else.
How about the Country Music Hall of Fame? I think it's really well done and have taken people there that don't even listen to country music!
Also, there's the science center. I haven't been, but it might be something "cool" to do indoors.
