what a good dog!

I have never, ever, seen Sarge this good in my life!

His snip went well today.  I got a funny picture of him on my cell phone to send to DH (who is away on his 2 weeks annual training).  He has on his e-collar & looks so angry like he's saying "dude! you took away my balls!"  DH loved it. The vet said he was trying to play with her shortly after coming to after surgery, but then went to sleep.

He's been sleeping since we got home!  He got up to go outside a few times, and of course, to eat, but other than that the dog just wants to sleep!  I don't recognize him!  I think they sent me home with the wrong dog! ;-)

I'm quite glad it went well.  He does, however, have to wear an e-collar due to his trying to lick his long-lost buddies.

Re: what a good dog!

  • I'm glad everything went well :)
  • Hope he has a speedy recovery!
  • Enjoy it while it lasts! It won't last too long! I think our puppies had so much energy because they kept them over night so we got them the day after when they were feeling less groggy and better from surgery.

Our dogs had to wear those stupid collars for over 2 weeks because they also had eye surgery! It was so annoying! They do sell soft ones at the pet store if you wanted to get him one of those. Oh and our dogs had colds when they had those ecollars on, so they were sneezing and snotting all over the collars, and then chewing on each others. Yea... it was loads of fun.
