Please Recommend a park in NE

I want to take DH to Stanich's on Fathers Day since he loves their burgers and then head to a park for a little family time if its not raining. I'm looking for something with trails to push the stroller on and some nice scenery or even just a great playground for Tre.

Re: Please Recommend a park in NE

  • I've heard Wallace Park is great for toddlers.

  • Mmmm...Stanich's...so good.  And just down the street for a 5 minute walk for me....that can be dangerous.  Anyways, we ride past Wilshire Park all the time at NE 33rd and Skidmore.  It has some trails for the strollers and does have a small play area I think as well.

Rose City Park has a play area as well and lots of trails that run up by the Rose City Golf Course.

  • Sorry, I meant Wilshire.  Wallace is NW.  Apparently, my brain can't distinguish between two words starting with W.
