Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

DH is obsessed with... kinda long
Future child ...
I have had the biggest laughs in the last two days...
We were at Chapter's and I looked at the book "what to expect before you are expecting" he saw BD - baby dance and wouldnt stop trying to hump my leg saying "bravo, delta - baby dance"
When we passed by an {baby depot} 3D and 4D place and I said to him I would pay for a 3D I think it would be neat; then we could also confirm the gender; He gave me the dirtiest look. Said no child of mine is having sound wave radiation to there 'junk'... I said well ultrasounds like important so they can do measurements and all sorts of things...
DH says " that is fine, get it done and get away"
Me " So you don't want to know the gender?"
DH "No..., My kid is going to be a super hero so the ultrasound waves will destroy there high end hearing"
Me ." Well what about testing to ensure the child doesn't have downs or other such defects"
Dh " Are you kidding... of you picture it now... you are swimming around in your pool and all of a sudden there is this hydradermic torture device in you pool; the pool will drain"
Me.... Laughing and totally blown away said to him that I was the virgin f-ing mary and it won't be OUR kid it will be mind, as you are too insane to have a child....
So today I said again to him that ultrasounds are important and if the tech accidently mentions something about the sex so be it ... and that we don't get pictures of baby unless they take picture which entitles more then a quick ultrasound! Then he asked if you could use the needle to put stuff into the 'pool'and I said I don't think so what were you thinking... a cape..
Dh looked over at me and then said .... did you just say a cape? I said yes... he laughed and said... Yea... can me!
It have been an amusing couple of days!
