Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Last Day of Teaching
I just finished my last day of teaching! Ok I still have a study hall last period but my last teaching class is done! I am so happy. I have to finish up grades by Monday but the end is in sight. Next week it is a Boston Harbor Cruise Monday and then 1/2 day Tuesday for graduation! Then I am off until January!!!! I can not wait! I really liked the kids but am ready to see them go. My feet really are looking forward to not having to work I swear they are puffier every day. Sorry had to share!

My mat. leave kicks in when the baby is born (8 paid and I am taking an additional 8 unpaid). Since my due date is a week after school starts they want me to take sick leave (I will get a drs note) for the time between the start of school which is the end of aug. and my due date the 14th of sept. I am totally stoked! Since S is still out of work we can nest together until she finds a job!
