do you think this china cabinet can be modified? PIP

I found this china cabinet on craigslist.. the price is good ($60) and it's the exact size I need for our small space, but the doors are really ugly.  Does anyone think this is something that could be fixed (DIY)? Or should I just keep looking?

  • you can def work w/it.  i'd say paint it and instead of the white on the doors maybe install some cool plexi glass or even really cool wall paper to match the decor.
  • thanks! what color would yo paint it? the room is a very light color, so I don't know if white would stand out enough. and where can i buy plexi glass?
  • right now i'm thinking of a light green (you know that spa green) or a light blue...i believe you can buy plexi glass at home depot.  you can also buy really cool wallpaper and do that....make that the small color that burst
  • Looks like the white part of the cabinet is curtains... and that should be real easy to remove and replace with a glass face.  If no luck with HD, try a shop dedicated to glass.  We bought a glass top for a table we had and it was less than a $100, and it is big and thick!

    GL!
