There is a FABULOUS recycle shop here that sells furniture for cheap. Oh, but it is in Japan, so that prob doesn't help you In the states I always just bought furniture at Rooms-To-Go. Totally not a hidden jewel, but at least it was all right there, in one place, matched and went together and wasn't super expensive. Finding little hidden places is fun though! Good luck!

We've enjoyed the Rooms-To-Go outlet in Grand Prairie.  It's best if you can visit often and even better if you can handle a couple scratches.

Not in the "good deal" category, but I love Design Within Reach.  We found our office light there, but bought it on ebay for 1/3 of the price.

I gotta tell ya - I covetted a West Elm Sofa for almost 2 years adn finally bought it about 6 months ago, and I'm dissapointed in the quality.

Crate and Barrell has great stuff. I am currently coveting many many things from their catalogue.

Not so much for hidden jewels or anything, but I absolutely love Ethan Allen! They typically have a section in the very back with discounted/clearance stuff and I've found some awesome deals back there before. Otherwise, I just love the quality, styles and service they offer.
