Greetings from Ireland!

Heeeellll-ooooo!

Well so far so good on our grand tour of the British Isles. Scotland was re-dic-cu-lous. Love that place. Loving Ireland to. Really missing ketchup.

True story: I was checking my facebook on the hotel computer, and my friend from high school, who lives in Ireland now, popped up and asked where in Ireland I was. We're in the north which a lot of people I guess don't do, and we're also like in small fishing villages and what not, but turns out she LIVES 20 MINUTES AWAY from where our hotel. So we hung out until 3am talking and catching up. I met her sweet little daughter and their summer home is gorgeous with an amazing view. But then again, what the heck isn't amazing here? I am a bushed, bushed monkey.

And so it's back in the Land Rover in the back seat with MIL and FIL, DH up front and BIL driving. My MIL is bent on using a map (with hardly any info on it from the tourist centers) and wants to ignore the GPS. Finally, after a half hour of, "Lets just use the map...why aren't we using the map...we should have gone on that road...why didn't we take that road", DH turns around and says, "Mom! It's a GPS! NASA uses them! The military uses them! There are satellites! Trust the GPS!" And BIL is doing a great job driving. He even missed hitting the ram and two lambs that got out of the pasture who were running around in the street. The only other down side it takes a half hour discussion to decide what we're doing. Just do it already!!! We're doing good though if after a week solid of family bonding that is our only complaint.

I can't upload photos the hotel is blocking putting them on flickr but I'm up to about 700 or so. It's awesome. I dont' think I have walked this much in my life but my little sneakers are doing good.

Oh well, time to hit the road. A couple castle ruins and rope bridge over a gorge. Yeaaa! So excited!!! I don't miss work one bit! Hope all is going well for the folks at home!
