Newlywed looking for Honeymoon advice

Hi, I live in Tampa Fl, but my husband and I are planning a kind of last minute honeymoon mid July. I was checking into Lake Tahoe, it looked like there is a lot to do there and the views look beautiful. I showed him my plan but he'd rather stay for a night and head down to San Diego or somewhere. We only have about 5 nights and are wanting to head west for sure. We'd like to do some adventurous things, maybe hiking or kayaking, and we'd also like to eat good and be outdoors. Whatever suggestions you have for us would be truly appreciated. TIA! :)

  • Unfortunately this board is pretty dead.  Lake Tahoe is gorgeous and you probably can get some good advice from the NorCal board.

I live on the Central Coast - small towns filled with good wineries and decent beaches.  You can take a pretty drive along the coast from San Francisco to LA/San Diego.  If you want to go quickly from Lake Tahoe to San Diego, it is best to go through the Central Valley (agriculture) via Hwy 5.

    HTH!
